South University

Mission Statement:

South University is a private academic institution dedicated to providing educational opportunities for the intellectual, social, and professional development of a diverse student population. To achieve this purpose, the institution offers focused and balanced curricula at the associate’s, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels. A broad-based core curriculum is offered promoting critical thinking, effective verbal and written communication, and skills for life-long learning. South University also attempts to instill in our students a value for learning and professionalism, as well as a commitment to contribute to and advance the communities in which they live and work.

The faculty, staff, and administration of South University uphold the belief that qualified individuals should have the opportunity to pursue formal academic training, and we welcome those who seek educational challenges. The university provides a learning environment that helps students identify goals and the means to achieve them. In this setting, students and faculty learn from each other by interacting both inside and outside of the classroom.
