Mission Statement:
The mission of Baltimore International College, a regionally accredited, independent college, is to provide qualified students with the education and experience they need to pursue progressive careers within the international business or hospitality industry. In seeking to fulfill its primary mission, the College is committed to:
Supporting professionalism in the industry by providing students with high quality, comprehensive cirriculum;
Providing flexible courses and programs in business and hospitality to meet the needs of students and international economic conditions;
Supplying businesses and the hospitality industry with well rounded graduates who have received profound educational and experiential/practical opportunities enhancing their ability to contribute to the community and their career;
Providing in collaboration with members of its community, its students with the highest quality of education while providing the industry with high caliber employees;
Contributing to the economic development and cultural, and historical qualities of the regions in which the College is located;
Outreaching into the community and building bridges by actively being involved in community service functions;
Encouuraging student involvement in community service to prepare the student for the industry and society;
Encouraging faculty to seek professional development and linkage into the community;
Continually developing, evaluating and assessing the rigor of its academic programs;
Enchancing educational development by providing a wide range of degree, certificate, and non-credit programs in hospitality;
Fostering excellence in teaching;
Planning for effective allocation of resources and fiscal management;
And providing a campus climate conducive to learning and professional develpoment.
