Mission Statement:
South Georgia Technical College is a public two-year postsecondary unit of the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education with the principal focus of providing learning opportunities through technical education programs and services that meet the needs of the citizens, businesses, and industries of its six-county service delivery area by:
1. providing administrative support and educational training of skills utilized in the world of work
2. forming business and industry collaboratives to provide customized training
3. offering quality student services, educational facilities and state-of-the-art equipment and technology
4. providing qualified faculty and staff
5. promoting lifelong learning through contributions to the educational culture of the communities served
